BASICS

We're kind of sad that we still have to put this in here, but since we do then we'll make this quick and to the point. Respect, people, which means respect everyone and respect the site, as a guest or a member. No public fighting, please, solve it over a PM and if it gets really bad contact a staff member and have them solve it. In the application we ask for a way to contact you. This can only be AIM, MSN or e-mail, with instant messaging (if you're online often) being preferred. None of this "check out my blog" or "deviantart" stuff because we do not want to check out your blog (shameless self promotion, and yes, we have seen it) nor get an account we do not already have. And everyone has e-mail.



CHARACTERS

Your character may not be based off or similar to you. Why? Because it blurs the line between in character and out of character (and causes drama). Your character cannot be a celebrity. They can be famous, they just cannot be Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift. Also you can’t use your play by’s name anywhere in your characters name. This means that if you use Taylor Swift as your play by, you can’t use Taylor or Swift in your character’s name. Overly dramatic histories are highly discouraged. The same goes for Mary or Gary Sues. (Don't know what those are? Basically we're saying that your character cannot be perfect). To keep the ratios close to even we have this rule: if you play two girls your next character must be a guy. If you “can’t play guys” then sorry, but you will only have two characters on the site. Characters cannot be under the age of seventeen.



PLAY BYS

All characters must have a famous, human play by. No exceptions. This person can be anyone you want, an actor, a model, whatever. They just have to be famous and you must post in the face claims (and all the required claims) before you can role play.



ACTIVITY

Any character who has not posted in an in character thread for two weeks will have their play by put up for grabs. If the inactivity continues for four weeks, the character will no longer be accepted. If the role player would like to play the character again, then a PM must be made asking for the character to be re-accepted and explaining why the inactivity happened in the first place. After being re-accepted the character must post in an in character thread within one week to stay accepted. This rule is counteracted if the member posted in the absence board. You may have as many characters as you like as they are all kept active.



ACCOUNT

Your account name must be the first and last name of your character with proper capitalization. So the name must look like this: John Doe. We will NOT accept names like this: john doe, JoHn DoE, or any variation like that. Middle names are optional. No extra symbols may be used. You may only have one account per character. We ask that you have a signature and an avatar, but it is not a necessity. However, it is a necessity that your character’s age and relationship status are in your signature. Looking around for it sucks and by having that information in your signature helps fellow role players. Graphics may not stretch the page. Ever. So keep an eye on the size of your pictures, okay? And there will be no nudity or partial nudity in your signature or ever linked anywhere.



ROLEPLAYING

Our word count minimum is 250 words. Proper capitalization and punctuation must be used at all times in role play. There are many different places to perform spell checks, so there really is no excuse for tons of typos. Pregnancy plots (including pregnancy scares, miscarriages or abortions) must be discussed and accepted (or denied) by the admin. If you have a good plot that includes something about pregnancy, then we will most likely accept the plot. However, we don’t need every girl on site running around pregnant. This is the the twenty-first century and there are many types of birth control out there.. so use them. Posting in character must be done in size 1 font. You can use fancy post templates or not, that is up to you. Do not only plot with characters whose play by has photo ops with your play by. It’s rude, immature and stupid. If it just so happens to work, great, if not, don’t bother with it. Jensen Ackles and Carrie Underwood would make a fine couple. I don’t care what you write about, just keep it tasteful please and thanks. Before making a second (or third, or fourth) character you must have been active with your most recently accepted character for a minimum of ten days. This isn't asking much, just making sure people don't make three characters in three days then never actually post with any of them.
